Folder Lock is a powerful file and folder guard with professional class features. It can lock your local drives and folders with a password to prevent unauthorized access.
The user interface is as easy as 123. Just create a new locker, set your password and drag any file or folder to encrypt. Multiple users can use the program by creating multiple lockers on the same computer. The program can shred any file after moving it to the locker to make it unrecoverable using any file recovery tool.
Stealth Mode can hide the program from the desktop, add/remove program, start menu and program files to make it completely invisible. However, you can access your locker in Stealth mode using hotkeys at any time. The locker is smart enough to clean recent file history, clipboard and search history after you close a locker to completely wipe all the traces of your activities.
You can also set uninstall password for the program, if you are afraid that someone can remove the program to access your files. So there is just no chance for your data to be stolen or accessed without your permission if you have Folder Lock installed in your PC. Built-in virtual keyboard saves your passwords from keyloggers that can be trying to steal your password.
One of the best features of the program is “portable lockers”. It means you can copy any locker along with the locked files to another PC and access locked files using the same password. Wonderful graphics, easy user interface and well managed lockers make the program a perfect security tool for your important data and a must have tool for every PC.

	I have used earlier versions of Folder Lock, which had a major drawback. Folders encrypted with Folder Lock were encrypted only for Windows. If you dual boot your computer with a version of Linux capable of accessing FAT and NTFS drives e.g. Mint Linux (You can also use bootable live CD of Mint Linux), your encrypted folders and the contents therein are visible bare naked. I have not tried the latest version. Please report if it also suffers from this drawback.

	new features of usb portability has given me a great easy,can access my data on usb on any machine without downloading Folder Lock again,gui is eye catching,a quality software with quality customer support.

	Folder Lock is really an amazing security software,new versions with upgraded features are extraordinary.The usb portability feature and virtual keyboard feature are nice.I was using 6.0.1 and which does not contain the feature of usb portability of Folder Lock and requested the vendor to do something for it and they did it,It seems that the vendor is really caring for its clients.It really a good experience using Folder Lock.
